Art Club

Philately club is a group of people who share an interest in the study and collection of stamps, postal history and related items. Philatelic clubs can be found in schools. Philately clubs can help people develop patience and persistence,and learn to classify objects and remember details.They can also help people learn about history,graphic design and other subjects

About IEM Public School

Under the umbrella of founding father Prof. Dr. Satyajit Chakrabarti, The Institute of Engineering And Management Group (IEM) was established. Settling in the heart of Salt Lake, IEM provides a beautiful and spacious green environment. Being a part of the IEM Group , IEM Public School provides a caring and friendly environment where every child is valued and nurtured. Each eye is encouraged to see themselves as part of the school community, where academics, technology, co-curricular activities, physical training combined with integrity and respect for other people are given attention to.

Objectives of the Art Club:

• To encourage self-expression through various forms of visual art.
• To develop observation, imagination, and fine motor skills.
• To provide a platform for showcasing student creativity.
Since its inception, the club has conducted theme-based drawing sessions, sketching and colouring workshops, and displayed student artworks on the school’s Art Board. Students have actively participated and responded with enthusiasm, making the club a lively and creative space on campus.

Future Plans:

• Organizing inter-class art competitions..
• Inviting local artists for live demonstrations and interactive workshops.
• Planning an Art Exhibition.
• Introducing basic digital art sessions for senior students.
The Art Club is off to a promising start and is expected to become a cornerstone of creative development in the school. With continuous support and encouragement, we look forward to shaping a generation of confident and expressive young artists.
