Literary And Drama Club

The Literary and Art Club aims to provide a platform for students to explore their creative talents, foster a love for literature and art, and develop critical thinking and self-expression skills.

Under the umbrella of founding father Prof. Dr. Satyajit Chakrabarti, The Institute of Engineering And Management Group (IEM) was established. Settling in the heart of Salt Lake, IEM provides a beautiful and spacious green environment. Being a part of the IEM Group , IEM Public School provides a caring and friendly environment where every child is valued and nurtured. Each eye is encouraged to see themselves as part of the school community, where academics, technology, co-curricular activities, physical training combined with integrity and respect for other people are given attention to.

This club encourages students to appreciate and analyze various literary genres and art forms, Provide opportunities for students to express themselves through creative writing, art, and performance , Develop critical thinking and analytical skills through discussions and workshops and Foster a sense of community among members through collaborative projects and events.

Some of the art forms were definitely showcased by the students associated with the clubs: Elocution based on English, hindi and Bengali (all vernaculars) and a small skit based on Teachers’ day. The skit was really interesting as students demonstrated the importance of teachers in their lives through their act.
On the other hand Honesty is the best policy was the topic of elocution which was wonderfully narrated by one of the student belonging from the literary and drama club.
